Full Moon in Taurus Report
Rhianna Quanstrom | NOV 5, 2025
This Full Moon on November 5th, at 8:19 AM EST, invites you to dwell in a moment of stillness and presence. To sink deeply into your bones, to allow a sunset to break open your heart, and to let the wisdom of your body speak.
As always, many energies are dancing and weaving through this Full Moon. Some are calling for presence and attunement to nature, while others are asking us to cleanse imbalanced relationship dynamics and break out of the old to step into the new.
I’ll describe the major themes and key geometric patterns occurring on November 5th so you can better align yourself with the energetics of this moment. Notice what stands out to you, what pulls at your heartstrings, and trust that this is the thread you are meant to follow for this Full Moon in Taurus.
Full Moon in Taurus Overview
The Full Moon represents a tipping point, a culmination of energy, a release point. It is traditionally seen as a time of letting go and releasing what no longer serves, to make way for the new beginning of the next lunar cycle. It is also illuminating—shining a light on what we are meant to see at this time.
The sign of the Sun and Moon, as well as the other planetary aspects, help us focus on what we are meant to release or realize. Because the Moon and Sun are opposite each other during a Full Moon, the Moon is in Taurus and the Sun is in Scorpio.
The Taurus-Scorpio axis represents a few different things, but for this guide, I want to focus on it as the “Seen vs the Unseen.” Taurus is our physical, material reality—what we can see, taste, hear, feel, and smell. Scorpio is the unseen dynamic within our physical reality—the emotions and energies behind and within our sensual experiences. It represents the great mystery of our subconscious: the unconscious instincts and conditioning driving our primal human behaviors.
With the Moon in Taurus, it is illuminating this area of our lives—our physical reality and sensual nature. Taurus also represents our values, material items, and relationship to nature. It is an earthy, grounded sign.
Because of this, one of the most important things to reflect on during this Full Moon is your relationship to nature, stillness, and presence. How connected do you feel to the natural world around you? How in tune are you with the seasons, cycles, and rhythms of the land? How present are you to the beauty of the plants and trees, the sky, and the wild animals?
This Full Moon, I encourage you to spend time outside in nature in stillness and presence. It is through stillness and presence that the mystery (Scorpio) reveals itself: in our bodies, in the wind, in the trees, and in the whispers of our Soul. Attune yourself to the energies of the land, allowing your nervous system to come into harmony with the frequency of the natural world.
Not only is this healing and grounding, but it also strengthens your connection to Mother Earth—she who provides all that we need. As a species, we have done her great harm, and now it is time for healing and re-harmonization. We can do this individually and collectively by spending time with her and being present in awe and wonder at her beauty and wisdom.
The Moon in Taurus is not the only placement pointing to healing our relationship with the Earth. Venus is the ruler of this Full Moon because she is the ruler of Taurus, and she is currently conjunct the dwarf planet Haumea.
Haumea is a Hawaiian fertility goddess who is said to have birthed the eight islands of Hawaii. She represents regeneration and abundance. Among astrologers, she is one of the celestial bodies representing the birth of a New Earth.
We are in the birth of a New Earth; it is not in the future, it is now. We are in the gestation phase, and we can do our part in this Great Transformation by healing our relationship with the land and animals around us. How do you relate to the squirrels in your yard or even the bugs in your house?
All of this relates to your relationship with life itself. And that includes you—the life force within you and your physical body. How do you care for and treat your physical vessel? It is all interconnected, for how we treat the land is how we treat ourselves.
Reflective Questions:
What is my relationship to the land around me? How connected do I feel to it?
What is my relationship to my body?
In what ways can I love and care more for the land I live on, as well as my body?
What practices, rituals, intentions, or habits help ground and connect me to the Earth?
If the Earth were speaking directly to me during this Full Moon, what message would she want me to hear?
Grand Water Trine: Awakening to Feminine Consciousness
A powerful geometric pattern is occurring during the Full Moon in Taurus: a Grand Water Trine between the Sun in Scorpio (13°), the North Node in Pisces (16°), and Isis in Cancer (13°). The Moon is also in the mix, as it is sextile to Isis and trine the South Node.
A Grand Water Trine is a harmonious flow of energy that points to emotional depth and release, heightened intuition, and spiritual sensitivity. The Sun represents our conscious self, while the North Node represents our destiny line—what we are meant to experience and grow into during this lifetime. It is where we feel most fulfilled and purposeful.
Isis is an Egyptian Goddess who represents sacred feminine magic, such as that love is a potent alchemical force that can transform death into life, lead into gold, and poison into a life-giving elixir. She teaches us how to embrace and use our feminine gifts to their highest potential, including our intuition, empathy, psychic sensitivity, and emotional wisdom.
This Water Trine points to an awakening of feminine consciousness so that we may become even more aligned with our highest potential in this lifetime. This connects back to our relationship with the Earth, for in a way, feminine consciousness is Earth consciousness.
It is the knowing and understanding that we are all interconnected. When one suffers, we all suffer. It is loving, unity consciousness, and the only way we can experience that is through healing and awakening to the feminine within and without.
Reflective Questions:
What does “feminine consciousness” mean to me personally?
What practices help me awaken and deepen into my intuition and emotional wisdom?
What emotions are asking to be witnessed, felt, or released during this Full Moon?
Where have I experienced love as a transforming or healing force in my life?
What does “living in harmony with the feminine” mean for my relationship with the natural world?
Venus Grand Cross: Cleansing Imbalanced Relationship Dynamics
One of the major aspects occurring during this Full Moon in Taurus is a Grand Cross, with Venus squaring Jupiter and Pluto (who are opposing each other) while opposing Chiron, who is also square to Jupiter and Pluto. A Grand Cross is intense, with much friction and challenge involved. However, this friction tends to propel us into action; it motivates us to make changes in our lives.
Venus is still in one of her home signs—Libra—which is all about relationships. She represents how we show up in relationships, so we can refer to this as our “relationship self,” or inner lover. In this dynamic, our inner lover is confronted with our deepest, core wounds related to our sovereignty, individuality, and victimhood. These wounds affect our relationship with ourselves and others (Chiron in Aries).
All the while, there is tension on either side of our lover, asking us to stop denying the shadows and potential power imbalances in our relationships (Pluto), as well as to examine how we care for and nurture others (Jupiter in Cancer).
Essentially, we want to be aware of “the monster in the basement” of our relationships. If there is anything being suppressed, hidden, or denied, it may rise to the surface more strongly during this Full Moon. This is a moment in time when we are being asked to be honest about our relationships—and most importantly, about how our own wounds may create unhealthy dynamics with our closest people.
Because a Full Moon represents a release point, reflect on what you wish to release from your relationships, such as behavioral patterns or belief structures. Perhaps it’s victim identity, emotional manipulation, control, codependence, lack of boundaries, over-nurturing (or under-nurturing), or people-pleasing.
Most of these behaviors are subconscious, which can make them difficult to recognize. That’s why it’s so important to be honest with ourselves in a nonjudgmental and loving way. In this loving space, we can honestly tune in to how we treat and show up for our intimate partners, friends, or family.
Of course, we also want to reflect on how we’re treated by others and whether anything feels imbalanced, unhealthy, or out of alignment. This could be an opportunity for honest, healing conversations, boundary setting, standing up for ourselves, or even stepping away from a relationship that no longer serves.
On a global scale, this geometry could reflect power shifting more to the people (Pluto in Aquarius). This relates to our collective awakening into feminine-unity-Earth consciousness as we move away from a hierarchical society. It also points to people in leadership positions either losing their power or truths emerging about how they wield their power (Jupiter opposing Pluto).
Reflective Questions:
What recurring emotional pattern do I notice in my closest relationships?
What does my “inner lover” need right now in order to feel safe, sovereign, and whole?
Is there anything I’ve been denying, minimizing, or avoiding in myself or others?
Where am I being called to release manipulation, people-pleasing, or emotional caretaking?
What relationship patterns or beliefs am I ready to transform or outgrow?
Mars Opposing Uranus: Breaking Into the New
During this Full Moon in Taurus, Mars in Sagittarius (0°) opposes Uranus (0°) and Sedna (1°) in Gemini. This is a tight and powerful opposition that encourages balance between these opposing forces.
Mars is now in the sign of expanded consciousness and exploration of the unknown, both internally and outwardly. He is our inner “doer,” our action-oriented self. Mars is passionate, active, fiery, and assertive. He is opposing the great awakener and revolutionizer, and together, their energy is about breaking through into the new.
To “break into the new” implies there is a barrier or limitation in place that must be overcome. In this way, we are being asked to take action in some form (Mars) to release what no longer serves. This may relate to the relationship dynamics mentioned above, or to our connection with the Earth and our bodies.
Mars and Uranus are both masculine archetypes. With the rise of feminine consciousness, there must also be an inner masculine transformation and revolution, and I believe this dynamic points directly to that.
Sedna is also in the mix, symbolizing feminine wounding caused by the toxic masculine. In her story, she is overpowered, abused, and betrayed by the men in her life. She is eventually thrown into the sea by her father, who cuts off her fingers. However, by surrendering to the depths of the ocean, she is transformed from a human into a goddess.
Sedna represents full-bodied transformation and the healing of feminine-masculine wounding. To me, this whole dynamic symbolizes how we must break free from the old internal patriarchal structures to embrace the full force of the feminine—both within us and the Earth. For this to occur, the masculine must also rise in his full Sacred expression and liberate himself from outdated, toxic patterns.
Reflective Questions:
What “barrier” or limitation in my life feels ready to be broken through?
What fear or pattern keeps me from moving forward into the new?
What does the Sacred Masculine look like within me, and how can I nurture more of that expression?
In what ways am I being asked to surrender to transformation, trusting that rebirth will follow?
If I were to fully embody both sacred masculine power and divine feminine wisdom, how might I live differently?
Practice Ideas
One of the best ways to honor this Full Moon in Taurus is to spend time outside in nature. You don’t need to go somewhere wild; nature is all around us—in our yards, city parks, and neighborhoods.
When you’re outside, focus on being present and internally quiet, as if you are meditating while walking or with your eyes open. Notice the fresh air on your face, the sounds around you, how the sky looks, and the plants or animals you can see. Be present with them and with your body, breathing into your heart and womb space.
From this place of stillness, you might ask the natural world around you to reveal or illuminate what you need to see or know at this time. You could ask questions related to what was mentioned in this guide, or other things that have been weighing on your mind. Let the land speak to you in symbols and metaphors, and allow your deeper knowing to translate their meanings.
You can also set the intention to honor and connect with the ancestors of the land. Place your hands on the ground and settle into the energy of the Earth beneath you. Call on the ancestors of that specific place—this includes all who have lived and passed on there, including plants, animals, and people. Perhaps you honor the Indigenous peoples who called that place home, and thank them for loving and stewarding the land for as long as they did.
Other practice ideas that harness the energy of this Full Moon in Taurus include:
Manifestation Ritual / Meditation: Taurus is a sign of abundance and fertility. Imagine the reality you wish to live in and what you most desire. Call that vision in and ground it into your body. Envision yourself already living in this reality, having all that you most desire. What does it feel like in your body? How does it change you?
Bird’s-Eye View Meditation: Become a distant observer of yourself and your relationships, as if you’re a hawk circling above. What do you notice about yourself and your interactions with others? Perhaps you bring a specific scenario or conversation into the meditation, and observe it from the outside.
Mars Breakthrough Meditation: Sink into an embodied meditation where you invite in the energy and fire of Mars within your body. Deepen into the fiery and passionate warrior inside you. Once you feel that energy, imagine breaking through a barrier of some sort. You might visualize yourself as a bull (Taurus) ramming through your limitations. You can hold the intention (or something similar): “May I break free from what is holding me back from my most aligned, loving, and joyful self.” You may or may not know what these barriers or limitations are; that’s okay, the intention is what’s most important.
Feminine Consciousness Meditation: Activate your heart and womb wisdom through an embodied meditation. Start by settling into your body using breath and movement. Once you’re grounded, bring your awareness to your heart space. Invite your Sacred Heart to awaken through intention, visualization, sound, movement, and breath. You might place your hand on your heart, creating circles there or tapping on your chest. Invite the energy to stir and awaken. Once that feels complete, move down to your womb and invite it to awaken and stir. If you don’t have a womb, that’s okay—you can still connect with its energetics. Perhaps you circle your hips or place a hand on your womb space—trust whatever feels right to awaken your womb wisdom. Once both your heart and womb feel awake and active, invite a river of energy to flow between them and connect them. Allow them to harmonize and become one, so that your heart is your womb and your womb is your heart.
As always, trust in your intuition and listen to its guidance. It will lead you to what serves you most during this Full Moon.
May you feel the love and wisdom of the Earth wrapping around you this Full Moon. May the beauty of the land take your breath away and remind you that you are intimately connected with all that you see.
With Love,
